Helitech 2016: On Trakka for EMS missions (video)
Trakka Systems unveiled its TrakkaBeam TLX and TC-300 payloads to the European market at Helitech International on 11-13 October.
The company specialises in searchlights and cameras on board air, marine and land platforms for surveillance purposes within EMS, SAR and law enforcement operations.
According to Andrew Phillips, EVP global business development at Trakka Systems, the TLX is an ‘easy upgrade’ from the A800 gimbal: ‘This is the first European launch of the Trakkabeam TLX… it offers 25% more illumination and it has a 10% lower power draw and on an aircraft that’s pretty crucial.’
