Helitech 2016: Lord looks for more aftermarket opportunities
Lord Corporation has been vocalising its long history in the aftermarket at Helitech International 2016, while looking to also branch out with its platform bases.
The company has been active in the aftermarket and reducing direct maintenance costs for helicopter users since 1979. Lord states that it has saved millions of dollars for operators. For the past 24 years, it has been operating Bell Helicopter’s repair and overhaul services exclusively.
Rodolphe Leroy, marketing, sales and business development manager, told Shephard: ‘Since the beginning of the programme, we have probably saved the operators that use our repair programme over $300
