Estonian Air Force helicopter NVIS modifications complete
REBTECH and partner Night Flight Concepts have announced that Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS) modifications to two Estonian Air Force helicopters have been completed. The announcement was made 24 April, 2012.
The Estonian Air Force helicopter division consists of four R-44 aircraft used primarily for surveillance and search air rescue. NVIS play an important role in meeting political, military, economic, social, environmental and psychological threats, and the modification will enhance capabilities in these areas.
Specific details on the work carried out has not been released.
