Downturn in light military rotorcraft sales predicted

As the overall international demand for light military helicopters contracts, manufacturers continue to pursue emerging markets to sustain production levels, according to a new study.

Forecast International has released a new report that claims the recent decline in sales of light military rotorcraft is set to continue, as dire financial conditions force governments worldwide to reduce military budgets in an effort to cut total spending.

However, the study also revealed demand for the airframe remains high in regions such as Latin America, the Middle East, and South Asia, offering some hope for manufacturers
