​Brazilian Navy details Super Cougar delivery

The Brazilian Navy has received seven H225M in UH-15 configuration from Airbus Helicopters subsidiary Helibras, with the first of two UH-15A CSAR aircraft to be delivered this year out of a total of 16 helicopters.

The HU-2 Pegasus Squadron located at São Pedro da Aldeia naval air station is receiving all of the helicopters, although the navy is currently analysing other possible basing locations.

The first five of the UH-15B anti-surface warfare (ASuW) variant is scheduled for delivery in April 2018 and the last unit will be received in August 2022, the Brazilian Navy told Shephard
