Indonesia’s national National Search and Relief Agency (BASARNAS) has taken delivery of two AS365 N3+ Dauphin helicopters from PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI).

The two helicopters were ordered in November 2018. The aircraft is equipped with a hoist to pull/evacuate people through the right side door.

The AS365 N3+ Dauphin in SAR configuration is an industrial cooperation between PTDI and Airbus Helicopters.

Elfien Goentoro, president director, PTDI, said: ‘Previously, PTDI… managed to hand over two units of helicopter AS365 N3 + Dauphin on February 18, 2014 and two units of helicopter AS365 N3 + dauphin on November 15, 2016.

‘The release of CHNRD helicopter AS365 N3 + Dauphin, proved the seriousness of PTDI to help fulfil the main tasks and functions of Basarnas in order to support enough to evacuate and help victims.’
