Australia offers debrief on Sea Sprite cancellation for potential buyers

The Australian Defence Material Organisation has confirmed that it is preparing to provide detailed briefings to foreign military forces interested in acquiring the eleven Kaman SH-2G(I) Super Seasprite helicopters previously on order for the Royal Australian Navy but then cancelled.

The DMO's head of helicopter systems, MAJGEN Tony Fraser, says that the cancellation of the Australian order is likely to be a factor influencing any subsequent third party acquisition decisions.
