Shephard caught up with Col Clair Gill, commander, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, who spoke about its role in Operation Atlantic Resolve in October 2017.

The rotational brigade was deployed into Europe in February 2017 and began its mission the following month with its 86 helicopters and 1,600 personnel.

Its purpose is to work closely with allies to deter foreign aggression in Eastern Europe sparked by the Russian intervention into Ukraine.
