Aero, Sikorsky extend UH-60 cockpit contract
Czech company Aero Vodochody and Sikorsky have extended their contract on Black Hawk helicopter cockpits, Aero Vodochody announced on 6 June.
Under the new contract amendment, Aero Vodochody will continue to manufacture cockpits for UH-60M Black Hawks until 2023.
The company provides fully assembled cockpits, including installing electric harnesses and control systems, fabricating parts and assembling composites, and providing spare parts.
The company has been producing cockpits for the UH-60M since 2011. As of May 2017, Aero has delivered 240 cockpits for UH-60M.
