Aero India 2013: Eurocopter urges progress on Indian LUH tender

Eurocopter is hopeful that an Indian competition for 197 light helicopters will be resolved soon despite doubts swirling around the programme.

Lutz Bertling, president and CEO of Eurocopter, told a media briefing at the Aero India exhibition in Bangalore that the Indian Air Force’s (IAF’s) and Indian Army’s Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) programme, for which the company is offering its AS550 C3 Fennec, is ‘still on-going’.
