Turkey to start production of new armed UGV
The Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) has signed a contract with Aselsan for production of armed UGVs.
Experienced manufacturer Katmerciler will produce the UGV platform (pictured), which will be delivered to Turkish Land Forces Command.
According to the Turkish Defense Industry Directorate, the medium-class UGV will be equipped with a remote weapons station. It will be used for reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting missions.
