‘Priority’ CUSV moves into build phase

The Common Unmanned Surface Vehicle (CUSV) programme will move into a production and outfitting phase in 2016 after the conclusion of the critical design reviews last year.

In Textron’s Q4 2015 financial reports released last week it was disclosed that revenues at Textron Systems decreased $158 million, primarily ‘due to lower Unmanned Systems volume’, which itself was offset higher volumes in the Marine and Land Systems. The CUSV is one of a number of programmes in Textron Systems Unmanned Systems lineup.
