Manufacturer of drones fond of Austrian antenna-know-how
PIDSO and Schiebel, two Austrian high-tech companies, have partnered to work together on the CAMCOPTER S-100. The CAMCOPTER S-100 recently made a highly successful debut in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Market, and is being distributed by Boeing in the United States. PIDSO will supply advanced lightweight antennas that will enhance the performance of the unmanned helicopter drones produced by Schiebel.
These include optimized Horn and Tail Antennas for the CAMCOPTER S-100 and also a Monopol to be used for its Tracker-Ground-Station. PIDSO's antennas weigh over 40% less than competitors, and thus provide a decisive advantage for new unmanned aerial vehicle designs. PIDSO's system for drones enables longer flight time and the transport of higher weight capacity.
"We are very happy to work for such a successful company like Schiebel and its CAMCOPTER S-100," says PIDSO CEO Christoph Kienmayer. "It shows exactly how focused and costumer-specific we are at PIDSO."
"The CAMCOPTER S-100 as High-Tech-Product requires specific and complex solutions. In PIDSO we have found a competent partner who allowed us to react fast for client-specific requirements," says Gerhard Peller, CEO of Schiebel.
With this partnership, PIDSO takes another successful step in the development of its business. "It is our ambition at PIDSO, to bring the liaison with Schiebel to a long-term partnership," concludes PIDSO CEO Kienmayer.
