UK flight test sees largest unmanned aircraft take off from a Royal Navy aircraft carrier.
Kongsberg and Hydroid’s biennial user conference for AUV operators demonstrated increasing collaboration between military and commercial sectors, a senior company executive has said.
According to Graham Lester, VP sales and marketing at Hydroid, the conference enabled navy customers from Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden amongst others, to swap tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) with commercial, offshore and marine research operators.
The conference, which took place in Lerici, Italy, between 15 and 17 October, is open to organisations which operate Kongsberg and Hydroid AUVs including the Remus and Hugin product ranges.
