Eurosatory 2018: Sales success for new Rheinmetall UGV
Rheinmetall has confirmed that it already has an order for its new wheeled UGV, known as the Mission Master, which was displayed for the first time at Eurosatory 2018.
An undisclosed Middle Eastern nation placed an order for ‘hundreds’ of the platforms at the beginning of 2018, Alain Tremblay, VP at Rheinmetall told Shephard, adding that deliveries will begin in 2019.
The company has matured the technology for medical evacuation, cargo and surveillance missions and Tremblay added that the new customer had required a ‘special configuration’.
