UAV programmes in Europe are dominated by France and the UK with work continuing on the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) design between the two nations. 

The future of the UK's unmanned capability remains uncertain, however, as the Royal Navy is set to remove the ScanEagle from operations, due to budget restraints, and the British Army is yet to fully integrate the Watchkeeper MALE UAS.
