Christmas comes early for Endeavor with MTRS Inc II award
The US military is getting its Christmas shopping for unmanned systems finished early this year with a spate of contracts having been awarded in recent weeks.
In the latest such award, Endeavor Robotics has again won out with a $100 million firm-fixed-price contract for the Man Transportable Robotic System Increment II (MTRS Inc II), the US Department of Defense announced on 29 September.
Five bids were received for the programme, which will see the US Army provided with a medium-sized common robotic platform.
