Boeing faces evolving market

Boeing Defense will execute a more holistic approach towards ‘a rapidly evolving’ aerospace market, CEO Chris Chadwick has announced.

Speaking to media on 24 June ahead of the Farnborough International Airshow, Chadwick described how the ‘intersection’ of platforms, weapons systems, support services and information security would start to gain momentum moving forward.

‘The needs of the customers over the last 15 to 20 years have evolved tremendously. Back then it was all about the platform- technology could only give you only so much situation awareness through sensors and weapons, so that autonomous capability of a fighter aircraft was everything,’ he
