AUVSI 2019: Collins Aerospace’s civil avionic solutions aid military missions

The application of Collins Aerospace’s Pro Line Fusion avionics system is reducing crew workloads and being applied to military aircraft with ease due to its civil certification.

Pro Line Fusion manages, monitors and masters flight automation. In addition to Pro Line Fusion, the company's Avoidance Re-Router technology (AAR) cognitive decision aiding technology can provide assistance in re-routing aircraft through weather storms or issues a platform comes across during operations; the technology alerts the pilot then re-routes past the obstacles and obstructions. It is currently fielded on the US Army’s CH-47 Chinook.
