Australia to host Zephyr trials in 2018

Airbus Defence and Space will conduct a series of trials in Australia next year with its Zephyr high-altitude pseudo satellite system, the company revealed.

Tony Fraser, managing director of Airbus Group Australia Pacific, said a Zephyr 8 (a Zephyr S, or Single tail) system will be based in Australia in 2018 for a series of trials on behalf of potential customers, including the Australian Defence Force and other local and global customers.
