Air Hopper demonstrated to IDF

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is continuing the development of its Air Hopper VTOL UAS platform, having recently completed a proof of concept demonstration to Israeli defence and military officials.

The Air Hopper simulated the carrying of a seriously-wounded soldier to an evacuation point for life-saving treatment, airborne monitoring of vital signs and real-time dispatch to the ground. 

The system operator supervises the execution of the mission and the convoy's vehicles in real-time from a safe area outside the threat range of the battlefield.
