Aero India 2017: Skeldar looks to ‘Make in India’
UMS Skeldar is making a concerted bid for the Indian market with its V-200 at Aero India 2017 in Bangalore, where the vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAV undertook daily flying demonstrations.
David Willems, head of business development for UMS Skeldar, told Shephard. 'The fact that we are flying in-country, where government agencies and armed forces can see the V-200 in action, gives a lot of comfort to those who will be assessing the viability of this platform.'
