AAD2014: China Electric displays rotor UAV
China Electronics Technology Corporation (CETC) International has put on display its CETC54 Yunyi rotor UAV helicopter at the AAD exhibition in Pretoria, South Africa.
The CETC54 is a small UAV designed for air surveillance, anti-terrorism, anti-riot, police patrol, survey, and agricultural operations and is available in four-rotor and six-rotor variants.
The four-rotor variant on display at the exhibition has an unfolded diameter of 1.8m and a folded diameter of just 0.31m. The vehicle body has a height of 0.42m and a length of 0.64m.
When in its six-rotor configuration, the UAV has a diameter of 2.2m unfolded and 0.45m folded.
