AAD 2018: Milkor diversifying in the defence market

Known for its origins in grenade launchers, defence manufacturer Milkor is expanding its portfolio on the ground and in the skies, Phuti Jackson Mampa, CEO at the company, told delegates at AAD 2018.

As the company enters its fourth decade and with new executive members on board, Mampa explained the decision was taken to ‘diversify’ Milkor’s offerings to the market.

‘That’s why we have decided to introduce our top of the range APC, armoured personnel carrier, which is Milkor’s 4x4. We have also decided... we can introduce further UAVs which are also top of the range,’ Mampa stated.
