Pilot training school will train RCAF test pilots and promote FA-50 for tactical and adversary training

Canada’s International Test Pilots School (ITPS) has been awarded a contract to train Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) test pilots and flight test engineers by the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE).

Based at 4 Wing at Cold Lake, Alberta, AETE is the developmental and engineering testing arm and flight test provider for the Canadian Armed Forces and is responsible for evaluating new systems scheduled for installation on all Canadian military aircraft.

ITPS Canada is one of eight fully accredited schools offering flight testing in the world and one of only four European Aviation Safety Agency Approved Training Organisations for fixed
