DSEI 2017: Marathon lets new training robot loose

Australian-based company Marathon Targets has detailed the latest member of its autonomous robotic target range at DSEI.

The T10 is a scaled-down version of the company’s robotic targets that are already in service with various nations worldwide. The main purpose of the T10 is to be used in indoor ranges.

Dr Tobias Kaupp, director and co-founder of Marathon targets told Shephard, that it had delivered a small number of the T10 targets to Australian special forces for trials.

The capabilities that the T10 bring include a smaller footprint, allowing the system to fit through doors and corridors, and a fold-down mechanism
