United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) planners are exploring new weapon technology demonstrations in conjunction with the annual SHOT Show gathering in Las Vegas in January 2020.
As in recent years, the command is using the event to evaluate emerging technologies, with the details outlined in a USSOCOM SOF Range Day special notice released on 9 August 2019.
The request for information, which characterises the range event in a manner similar to other USSOCOM technical experimentation opportunities, notes that the range day will occur on both 18 and 19 January at the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR),
