SHOT Show: HK prepares first CSASS deliveries (video)
Heckler & Koch is preparing to deliver the first test examples of the 7.62mm Compact Semi-Automatic Sniper System (CSASS) to the US Army.
A total of 30 rifles will be delivered over the course of 2017, in two batches of 15 units, said G. Wayne Weber, HK's VP for US government and law enforcement sales.
On display at this year's SHOT Show, the CSASS - designated the M110A1 in US service - has gone through several modifications since it was selected by the US Army last year.
The updated rifle design includes a new, smaller diameter, M-LOK handguard. That modification
