Seeking to maintain the tactical advantage over near peer and high capability adversaries, the US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) has disclosed its Capability and Technology Interest Items for 2019.
Published on the Federal Business Opportunities on 14th March, interest items are sub-divided into “Secret” and “Unclassified” categories. Areas of interest will be explored by USSOCOM’s various Program Executive Offices during the next Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) in May, the solicitation explained.
Additionally, JSOC documents described how interest areas will also be considered during the annual Special Operations Forces Warrior Operational Requirements Discussion Symposium (SWORDS) in October/November 2019.
