Ukrainian coast guard to bolster fleet
Ukraine will purchase up to 25 new high-speed patrol boats for the National Coast Guard as part of Project Jura, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (MoD).
Built by the Kharkov-based Sea Magic company, the vessels have a maximum speed of 110 km/h with a range of more than 500 km.
The boat is designed for a crew of five and in addition to patrolling functions, the new cutter will act as an interceptor.
