RAM Systems awarded modification for Rolling Airframe Missile delivery to German Navy
German-based RAM Systems has been awarded a $35 million contract modification to deliver on FY2021 German Navy requirements for Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) MK 49 Guided Missile Launch Systems (GMLS).
According to the DoD the 10 November contract will serve to procure material, fabricate parts, assemble, test and deliver RAM MK 49 GMLSs and spares.
The contract will see 55% of the work carried out at sites in Germany and 45% in the US, and is expected to be completed by June 2028.
