Colombia commissions ex-South Korean missile corvette
The Colombian Navy commissioned its newest missile corvette ARC Almirante Tono (CM56) on 5 January in a ceremony (pictured) at the ARC Bolivar naval base in Cartagena.
This 88m-long, 1,220t Pohang-class corvette served the Republic of Korea Navy (RoKN) as ROKS Iksan before being decommissioned in 2018 and transferred to the Colombian Navy in September 2020 at Jinhae naval base in South Korea.
