New batch of patrol boats headed for Saudi Arabia
The latest batch of German-built Lürssen 40m patrol boats are being shipped to Saudi Arabia aboard a transport ship where they will enter service with the Saudi Border Guard’s (SBG) coast guard service.
The patrol vessels - Al Lith and Khaybar - were loaded aboard the transport ship BBC Alberta on 25 April at the port of Mukran on Germany’s Baltic coastline. The transport ship departed Mukran on 26 April.
