GPEC 2015: New amphibious vessel on the market
Malaysian company LMT Maritime has partnered with an Australian entrepreneur to promote a prototype amphibious vehicle, known as the Leapfrog, at GPEC Asia in Kuala Lumpur.
The vessel is ideally suited to provide relief during times of flooding where small pockets of land may be difficult to reach, according to entrepreneur Jeff Atkinson. who added that the Australian State Emergency Service had issued requirements for such a vehicle and the prototype has been built with those specifications in mind.
On land the craft can reach up to 60mph and on water up to 25 knots depending on the load. The
