Defense Services Asia: Oto Melara promotes Vulcano
Finmeccanica subsidiary Oto Melara has used the Defense Services Asia (DSA) exhibition to promote its guided ammunition technology to the ASEAN market.
Speaking to media at the show, Ulderigo Rossi, senior vice president, said the long term prospects of guided ammunition technology were extremely positive, adding that he was confident of an increasing demand for land and naval weapons in ASEAN countries.
‘We have evaluated the possible future of the guided ammunition market - in our assessment this market is growing, and will be six times the present requirement by 2024,’ he added.
