ADMM-Plus conducts largest exercise
Participants in the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) performed a counterterrorist assault aboard a ship in the South China Sea on 8 May as part of a large-scale military exercise.
Deemed the largest multilateral maritime security exercise in Southeast Asia to date, it involved 18 naval vessels and 25 aircraft/helicopters. The maritime security component was conducted simultaneously with counterterrorism training.
