Russian forces receive Malka self-propelled gun
An artillery formation of the Russian armed forces’ Central Military District stationed in the Kemerovo region has received 12 new 203mm Malka self-propelled guns, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced on 25 June.
With a firing rate of up to three rounds per minute, the gun is intended to eliminate targets at distances of up to 50km.
The Malka gun will also be used for the field training of artillery units at the Yurgensky training ground in the Kemerovo region in July 2018.
