Suppliers rallied for Warrior IFV final push (video)
Lockheed Martin sought to reassure suppliers working on the delayed Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP) that a manufacturing contract is on its way from the UK MoD.
The company showcased the vehicle during an event at Bovington Tank Museum on 7 March to suppliers, subcontractors and the media. The next milestone for WCSP is the start of Reliability Growth Trials (RTG) in March 2019.
Richard Claydon, WCSP programme lead for Lockheed Martin, reiterated the close working relationship with the MoD while asking subcontractors ‘bear with us’.
