FNSS announces MILDESIGN2015 winners
FNSS Savunma Sistemleri has announced the winners of its FNSS MILDESIGN2015 International Military Land Vehicles Design Competition.
This marks the second year of the competition, and its theme was a concept design of a remote-controlled and manned module military land vehicle with ballistic protection. A total of 14 projects of out 152 won awards.
In the professional category, the first prize went to the Andarkan concept by Levent Tuna, the second place went to Mamba by Berkant Orçun Çangal and the third place went to Altar by Tolga Yaşar Yilmaz.
In the student category, the first prize went to Truva by a Gazi University team. The second prize went to Metçek by students from the Mimar Sinan University and Marmara University. The third prize was for Berk Kaplan, designed by Gazi University.
The winners will be presented their awards at a ceremony to be held in IDEF 2015, which will take place on 5-8 May in Istanbul, Turkey.
