Eurosatory 2018: Austria unveils new vehicles

The Austrian MoD has showcased several new armoured vehicles to the press at the ministry’s offices in Vienna, including the Dingo 2 A3 in different configurations, a Pandur EVO prototype and a new all-terrain BvS10 AUT prototype.

The MoD has ordered a total of 58 Dingo 2 A3 through a government-to-government deal with Germany, of which 46 will be configured as patrol vehicles (Dingo 2 A3 PatSI) and 12 as maintenance vehicles (Dingo 2 A4 MatE).

They are equipped with a WS-4 Panther RWS, manufactured in Austria by company ESL. The RWS is fitted with .50cal machine gun, six 76mm
