Terma, T&G Nordic sign agreement
Terma has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Finnish company T&G Nordic regarding Terma’s C-Guard decoy launching system.
Under the agreement, T&G Nordic will support Terma in the design, development and production of a new test cartridge for the C-Guard decoy launch system - a naval self-protection solution designed to counter missile and torpedo attacks. In return, T&G Nordic will become a part of Terma’s supply chain and will gain access to new export markets.
The new test cartridge will enhance the functionality of C-Guard by enabling system simulation scenarios, better control and usability for the operator, and advanced setup parameters for the system.
The C-Guard decoy launching system provides 360° coverage to counter advanced threats such as small range gate radio frequency missiles, imaging infra-red seeker missiles and advanced next generation torpedoes.
