SEA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Daronmont Technologies to support future Australian submarine and naval shipbuilding programmes.

The companies will jointly address Royal Australian Navy requirements outlined in the Future Submarine (SEA 1000) and Hunter-Class Frigate (SEA 5000) programmes.

Initial activities will see the establishment of a specialist cell at Daronmont’s facility in Adelaide in 2019 that will be equipped with SEA’s training and simulation capabilities.

The companies will work to leverage SEA's flexible, open-architecture communication system and vendor-independent weapons launcher systems, and Daronmont Technologies' expertise in the design, engineering, integration and support of complex high technology electronics and software-intensive systems, to meet Australian requirements.
