Israel Shipyards scores with new OPV design
Just four months after the launch of its new OPV design, the OPV-45, Israel Shipyards has secured its first order for the new vessel type.
Speaking to media at the company’s facility near Haifa, Noam Katsav, marketing director for shipyard owner SK Group, confirmed that a contract had been signed for two units of the OPV-45 in late September 2019. The eventual recipient of these vessels remains undisclosed.
