UK Integrated review shifts focus to the Indo-Pacific

The UK Integrated Review, announced on 16 March, hints at upcoming alliances in the Indo-Pacific region amid expectations of a rocky relationship with China.

The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed the first part of the long awaited Integrated Review during a speech in the House of Commons on Tuesday 16 March.

While the MoD Command Paper which will provide details on the implications  for individual defence programmes is expected to be released on 22 March, the Integrated Review revealed so far a shift in forcus for the UK from Europe to the Indo-Pacific region.
