Montenegro claims first Bell 505 military helicopter order

The Montenegro Air Force has placed a  €3.3 million ($3.69 million) order for two Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopters for training missions.

The deal between Montenegro and export agency Canadian Commercial Cooperation will see aircraft production take place at Bell’s Mirabel facility before being transited to the company’s Prague service centre for delivery.  

A first aircraft is expected to be delivered in July 2020 and the second in Q1 2021, with the new helicopters replacing legacy Gazelle platforms.
