Heli-Expo 2016: Era Group considers AW609 for EMS
Era Group is working with Finmeccanica Helicopter Division to further develop the AW609 tiltrotor for EMS missions, following the signing of an agreement at Heli-Expo.
Under a memorandum of understanding, the two companies are working to develop an ‘exclusive’ special EMS configuration for the AW609 as Era Group proves the business case for the use of the tiltrotor in certain remote regions of the world.
