Farnborough: TRU wins Bell 525 simulator contract

TRU Simulation + Training has been awarded a contract by Boeing for the Bell Helicopter 525 Relentless Full Flight Simulator (FFS), it was announced at Farnborough International Air Show (FIA) on 15 July.

‘The Bell 525 simulator will use Odyssey H FFS, which is currently in the manufacturing stage,’ said Jim Takats, President and CEO of TRU Simulation + Training.

The FFS will be certified to FAA Level D, as well as EASA/JAA Level D. Odyssey H uses TRU's ultra high definition visual system with 240 degree horizontal by 80 degree vertical field of view visual display.
