DSEI 2017: FVL ready for flight (video)

The FVL technology demonstrator aircraft being built for the US Army's Joint Multi-Role (JMR) programme are both progressing, although Bell Helicopter's V-280 Valor is now moving forward to its first flight shortly.

Sikorsky and Boeing's SB>1 Defiant is almost complete with the aircraft looking to take to the skies next year. Ground tests are expected to take place soon.

The US Army's JMR/FVL Programme Director, Dan Bailey talks with Shephard  about on board open architecture for the aircraft's weapon integration and how the military helicopter will be ready for the future battlefield.
