The success of the return-to-service programme for the Su-25 fleet was noted by the Bulgarian Chief of Defence Staff, Adm Emil Eftimov, during a 10 December visit to the BuAF Forward Deployment Base at Bezmer.
Four more aircraft are expected to join the fleet in February 2021. The first two aircraft were returned to the BuAF in September, followed by two more in October.
