Ashley Roque joined Shephard Media in January 2018 as its North American Editor, based in Washington, DC. Over the past 15 years she has covered defence and US politics for Inside Washington Publishers and the Roll Call Group, while also serving as the editor-in-chief for Hello Switzerland magazine.

Ashley holds a BA in English with a minor in journalism from Florida State University and a master’s degree in conflict transformation from the University of Basel.
